This is an unboxing and overview of the ASRock X570 PRO4 motherboard. I got through all the major details and provide a good run down on all the need to know information. The Asrock x570 PRO4 is a good entry level option if you are looking for Ryzen 3000 compatible motherboards and want PCIe Gen 4 speeds. I think for the average $150 this motherboard is a great contender for any set up. ASRock has a winner here with the X570 Pro4, Check it out!!!

  1. Hey man. Just found your channel, glad someone is actually covering this board!

Beginner question, I’ll be doing my first build on this mobo with a 5600x. Do I need to update the drivers or bios or anything ? And if so… How?

  2. Do you know what this driver does?
AMD all in 1 with VGA driver ver:19.10.16_19H1_WHQL

Also, when I go to the AMD website under “Driver and Support”, can’t download the x570 chipset after hitting submit.

  3. Would you recommend this over the Gigabyte Aorus B550M Elite? I’d be running a Ryzen 5 3600X, RTX 2060 Super and 16GB 3600Mhz. Just wondering if there’d be a noticeable difference in performance or utility to justify the added costs.

  4. I would like to know if the ASSASSIN III cooler is compatible with the “Asrock X570M PRO4” motherboard? Because I am thinking that the cooler will cover the PCIe x16, which is very close and therefore does not allow you to connect a video card.

  5. Awesome review! I was kinda weary about buying this board because I had a bad experience with ASRock in the past (mainly customer support not being helpful AT ALL), but this review has lead me to believe this is a quality board for a great price!

  6. Would it be a mistake going with the ASUS X470 ROG Crosshair VII Hero (Wi-Fi), for a Ryzen 7 3700x, RTX 2070 super hybrid (like yours) and g.skill RAM DDR4 3200 cl16? My main concern is if I should get a X570 motherboard, for the same price range… first time builder pc. Awesome channel! Thanks

  7. Has anyone updated the latest BIOS to this board? Curious if its worth it. My comp for the most part runs fine. a little quirkiness with my AIO from Corsair, and it runs a little warm for my comfort (R5 3600 idling at 45-55c even with new H100i RGB installed). Wondering if BIOS update would make a difference.

  8. Can ‘air’ cooling fans (without waterpump) be plugged into the chasis fan/wp or cpu fan /wp slots?

  9. How is the fan of this motherboard?noise? I’m thinking to pair this mobo with a 3600x and maybe upgrade in the future with a 4600x, it will worth in your opinion?

  10. Thanks for this! it’s helping me with my first build. For the m.2 slot with the heatsink, does it matter which m.2 drive I put in there? For example, I have a Samsung 970 evo plus nvme I’m planning to use as a bootdrive and an Intel 660p m.2-2280 nvme that will store footage for video editing. Which drive would benefit more from the heatsink? Anything else I should be aware of when thinking about this? Thanks
